Lachlan represents Mordi Brae at AFL Season Launch with Captains
On Wednesday 25th March, every community football club in Victoria was invited to send a representative to the AFL Season Launch at Etihad Stadium. MBJFC ran a comp to find our representative, and Lachlan Murie (U12) was selected as the winner. Lachlan, and his mum Lisa, spent the morning at Etihad Stadium mingling and talking with fellow footy players and their families and were included as part of a massive Team Captains photo with most of the AFL team captains. Coincidentally, it was also Lachlan's birthday on that day - what a way to spend your birthday! We hope you had fun Lachlan.

On the night, Mordi-Brae JFC are providing free activities for our children that will be run by Gecko Kids. There will be an obstacle course, and handball and goal kicking competitions. Great fun for kids of all ages. The kids activities will run from 6pm until 8pm.
The bar and canteen will be open, and you'll be able to purchase great food at great prices, and grab a drink or two. For this night only, Ann and Graham are planning some very, very yummy fish and chips and hamburgers at great prices.
And on top of that, you'll be able to purchase any game day merchandise that you still need to get (shorts and socks) so you're all set for your first game of the season on the Sunday.
Plus, if you haven't collected your mouth guard that you ordered at either of our registration days, or at the Auskick season opener, then you'll be able to pick this up as well.
It's going to be a great night and we look forward to seeing as many Mordi-Brae families there as can make it. The fun starts at 5pm so confirm your attendance today using the link above.
