Clubrooms renovation

The Walter Galt Committee (Team of MBJFC and Kingston Saints Cricket Club) are investigating carpet at the moment. Permanent furniture is being planned, but probably won’t be available until after the season. In the meantime, are very grateful to Dave Fowler, of McDonalds's, cnr Springvale and Heatherton Roads, for the loan of some chairs for our end of year Sunday Match reports.

First Aid and Trainers

The Moorabbin Saints Junior Football League has produced some guidelines for the provision of First Aid. the guidelines recommend the following qualifications or trainers:
  • For Under 9 - Under 12 Teams - All trainers should have a level one First Aid qualification, and have completed a Sideline Helpers course
  • For Under 13 - Under 17 Teams -All trainers should have completed a Level One Sports Trainers course.

Thanks to our 8 participants in the Level One First Aid course being held over 3 and 10 June, and Gavan Wheelahan, dad from our Under 14 - 3 team, who succesfully completed the Level One Sports Trainer's Certificate. The club has been pleased to fund these places, where our parents have been prepared to spare the time, and commit to helping out on field.

If anyone else is intersted in taking on a role as trainer or First Aid rep, and would like to undertake these courses (the club will be willing to fund  the most part of these courses) please contact your Team Manager or  Greg Shea.
