Parkdale Auskick News August 2010
 

170 kids came along to Friday Night's Training Under Lights & Pie Night. Thanks heaps to the Mordialloc - Braeside Junior Foortball Club and all their helpers on the night for serving over 200 pies to Parkdale Auskick.

Thanks to Jo from Joeybear Productions for having part of 2010 End of Year DVD showing for the kids and parents to see whilst eating a pie! Orders for this year's End Of Year DVD can be arranged by seeing Jo this weekend and are great presents for family members. $15 each, with proceeds going to Parkdale Auskick.  You can email Jo at jo@joeybearproductions.com if you can't make it to Auskick in the coming weekends.

We are very grateful for the continued support and involvement of our parents. Without all our fantastic volunteers we would not be able to run our Auskick clinics. A special thanks must go to Robynne Ryan for being our first-aid co-ordinator and for all the parents who have served as first aid officers.  We are indebted to Andy Collins for co-ordinating the Parkdale Auskick Fundraising BBQ at Bunnings on Sat 17th July. We are delighted that Parkdale Auskick now has an Events/Sponsorship Committee led by Jane Leonard. Thank you to Jane and all the members of her team (Jo Pyke-Simmons, Natalie Williamson, Tamlyn Phillips, Barb Harper and Marnie Connell) who have organised and run a number of successful and fun events to date including the footy breakfast, mums vs kids game, Mothers’ Day Raffle and the pre-loved footy gear sale. The committee has a number of terrific events planned for the rest of the season so stay tuned.
 
Parkdale Auskick is very fortunate to receive sponsorship from a number of local businesses.
