“AFTER THE BOUNCE – COACH REPORT LP”

Well the season has come to an end. What a finale it was. Wind and rain, cheers and tears - everything that makes for an exciting day of football. The first two games were a bit of a struggle for the boys. They tried really hard, however we were no match for the eventual winners in East Sandy and Dingley. Luke T`s banana goal was a highlight in the Sandy game and the six defenders held up well in both games. Josh, Quinn and Sam S led the way. Sam P was fighting hard around the packs, however he couldn’t find the space he needed to create opportunities. The Dingley game was similar, with the boys not being able to find any space.

 

The final game saw us playing St.Kilda City and we dominated from start to finish. We finished on a winning note. Something I thought the boys deserved for their wonderful season.

We went from tears to cheers and the boys gave a rousing rendition of the song. Well done fellas.

 

I would like to thank everyone for their kind words on Sunday night. I was quite overwhelmed.
